About Us

Doctor Patrick Romeus is a Haitian-American doctor who has been nationally recognized because of his outstanding work in the medical community. He has privileges in several community hospitals and has been awarded -best physician- on numerous occasions by other fellow physicians. Despite his demanding schedule, Dr. Romeus still finds the time to give back to his community in Haiti through organized medical missions, and locally as well, through educational seminars, health screenings at several religious establishments and many other community events. His medical expertise has led him to be sought out as a mentor by multiple teaching institutions, mentoring medical students and nurse practitioners. 

After serving for many years in his community as a general practitioner, Dr. Patrick Romeus relocated to the United States where he studied medical research involving different HIV treatments and Psychiatry at the VA Medical Center of Miami. Upon successful completion of the requirements set forth by the United States Medical Licensing Examination Authority, Dr. Romeus pursued his medical training at San Juan City Hospital and VA in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which has led him to become fluent in more than 3 languages while earning his certification of internal medicine. 

After extensive studying and practice in various medical realms, Dr. Romeus is now certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Today, Dr. Patrick Romeus continues to foster life-changing medical breakthroughs with Preferred Family Care by offering his patients a more robust life through his extensive health and fitness methods.
